Investigators
Our experienced Investigators team encourage children to begin to explore regulating their feelings and emotions and understanding boundaries. The team will help the children to begin to display empathy towards their friends and others around them by creating a caring and kind environment. The children enjoy regular ‘circle times’ which focus on personal, social and emotional development, helping them to build key skills related to building friendships.
Investigators’ activities are centred around the key skills of walking, talking and interacting with both Nursery staff members and their friends; these include messy play, outdoor play and discovery play amongst a range of other exciting opportunities.
Alongside guided activities, Investigators choose their own toys to play with, encouraging them to discover their own interests. Staff members also focus on language skills and encourage the children to begin to articulate their thoughts and feelings. Staff support children’s speech development by asking open-ended questions which children in this room learn to respond to.

My son has been at this nursery for the past 3 years. I have always felt that they have done an excellent job at settling and nurturing him. I know that he feels happy to be at nursery. I would feel happy to recommend this nursery. – Parent
