Our Developers Room is focused on making the transition between home and Nursery a smooth one and we’ll work with you to make sure that every child has a routine that’s right for them.

At this early stage in your child’s development, the experienced team within Developers focus on building their independence and home in on sensory experience. Activities concentrate on the sensations of texture and touch to encourage our developers to explore these feelings through play. 

To further encourage independence, all toys are at the children’s level meaning they can choose what they want to play with. Similarly, we offer a selection of two different activities every afternoon for children to get involved with. 

As each room at Loughborough Nursery is considered a stepping stone to the next, our Developers Room is also about preparing children for the next stage of their journey with us. 

In addition to learning through play, developers are supported to build confidence in gross motor skills such as walking and being able to feed themselves. Once they’ve found their feet, children are well prepared to move on to our Investigators Room.Our comprehensive educational program combines academic excellence with character development, preparing students for success in university and beyond. We offer a balanced curriculum that challenges students while providing the support they need to thrive.
