Library & ICT Suite

Our nursery wouldn’t be complete without our extensive Library and ICT Suite, both open to all children. From an early age, children begin to develop an understanding of books and technology in a structured, age-appropriate way. The library inspires a love of reading, while the ICT suite introduces basic digital skills that help children navigate simple programs with growing confidence and independence. Using educational apps, interactive stories, and digital puzzles, children develop problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and decision-making skills in a fun and engaging way.

SEND & Sensory Spaces

We are equally proud of our Sensory Room and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Area, which provide calm, supportive environments for children who benefit from additional guidance or sensory exploration. The Sensory Room helps children regulate their emotions and focus through light, sound, touch, and movement, while the SEND area offers tailored learning opportunities supported by our experienced staff. Working closely with families, we create individual learning plans to ensure that every child feels valued, included, and supported in their learning journey.

Discovery Room

To enrich each child’s experience, we also have a vibrant Discovery Room designed to spark imagination and creative play. A favourite feature is the Small World Village, where children immerse themselves in role play and storytelling. As they interact, they naturally develop their language and communication skills, learning to express ideas, take turns, and collaborate with their peers. This kind of play not only builds social and emotional awareness but also strengthens problem-solving and creative thinking.

The Barn & Outdoor Spaces

Our spacious Barn is the perfect indoor area for children to develop their gross motor skills. Every child enjoys weekly Physical Education sessions led by qualified PE teachers, ensuring that activities are both purposeful and age-appropriate. These sessions support coordination, balance, and teamwork, helping children build confidence in their physical abilities. Having an indoor PE space means children can stay active and engaged all year round, regardless of the weather.

All of our rooms are located on the ground floor, giving children easy access to secure outdoor play areas that encourage free-flow play between indoors and outdoors. The spaces are large, light, and airy, creating an inspiring environment where children can move freely, explore their surroundings, and discover new interests every day.
