Last week, we welcomed parents, teachers and Nursery staff to take part in our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning.
Helping to raise over £200, all our delicious cakes were baked by our skilled Nursery chefs and staff. Alongside the selection of sweet treats, our raffle also proved popular as entrants had the chance to win a hamper full of exciting prizes.
Not only did all donations go towards supporting the impactful work of a fantastic charity, but the coffee morning also offered parents a chance to meet other families with children at the Nursery. Whilst parents got to know each other, their children enjoyed cake-themed colouring activities (and of course a bite of cake!)
The social event also brought together colleagues from across the Loughborough Schools Foundation as we welcomed faces from Amherst School and our central services team.
With only a few cakes left by lunchtime, our charity coffee morning was a definite success.
